Thing You Should KNow with HOUSE OF THE DEAD 3 Game

Say what you will about motion gaming, some believe it is the future while others think that it is simply passing trend, I for one love it. Not just because I enjoy waving my arms around the room like an idiot, or the fact that I can get tendinitis in my elbow, but mostly because with the rise of motion gaming we have seen many of my favorite games from one of my favorite genre being re-release, and that is on rail shooter.

Few things compare to going to the arcade, holding that plastic gun in your hand and playing a shooter withal friend. Even if I didn’t put money in the machine I would pick up the gun and make my own sound effects. And one of my favorite games was the House of the Dead series, which can now play at home with the Playstation Move. House of the Dead 3 continues the story and the on-rail shooting of the series.

The world has practically fallen apart and is now completely overrun with the zombies of Dr. Curie. Forth most part you play as Lisa Rogan as she searches for her father and shoots plenty of zombies along the way. You will ride along the rails through many different areas, and be shooting the entire time. If you have ever played a light gun shooter, you will know what to expect. Zombies will come towards the screen and you shoot before the attack. There are also surprise attacks and zombies who will throw objects at you. There are few breaks and you will be firing constantly.

There are some changes to the game play. Now you don't have to shoot off screen to reload. It does it automatically, which keeps the action moving fast. And you can select different paths to take which gives the game plenty of replay value. Being on the Playstation3 comes with updated graphics as well. The game is now in HD and looks and sounds great, except the game’s laughably bad voice acting which is still as bad as ever.

The game cane played with the controller or the PS Move. Each works perfectly, but you will prefer the Move to play the game the way it was intended. House of the Dead 3 is one of the best on-rail shooters ever released, and now is even better with updated graphics and full Play station Move support and PSN. It is still as fun as ever, especially with a friend, and should be picked up by any fan or anyone curious about the genre.
